Alicia Artis

Alicia Artis has a diverse background in the healthcare industry. Alicia is currently serving as the Chief Nurse Executive at Opportunities Industrialization Center, Inc. (OIC) since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Vidant Health from 2015 to 2021, starting as a Clinical Informaticist II and later transitioning to the role of Director VMG Quality. Alicia also gained experience at Sampson Regional Medical Center as a Sr. Clinical Analyst in 2015. Earlier in their career, they held positions at Hill Rom as a Clinical Business Analyst from 2011 to 2015 and as a Clinical Application Specialist from 2006 to 2011.

Alicia Artis holds a Master's Degree in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University, which they obtained between 2000 and 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from East Carolina University between 1996 and 1998. Alicia also holds an Associate of Science in Nursing from Wayne Community College, which they completed from 1994 to 1996. Alicia Artis began their higher education journey by earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from UNC Chapel Hill between 1989 and 1993. In 2016, Alicia Artis obtained a certification in Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2013 from Certiport - A Pearson VUE Business.
