Amber Kuchar-Bell

Amber Kuchar-Bell has a diverse work experience in various organizations. Amber currently serves as the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at Opportunity Finance Network since July 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at The CDFI Fund, US Department of the Treasury for nine years, where they held the positions of CDFI and NACA Program Manager from July 2015 to July 2021, and Associate Program Manager from February 2012 to July 2015. Amber also worked as an Investment Officer at Calvert Impact Capital from August 2008 to February 2012, and as an Underwriter at NCB Capital Impact from February 2007 to August 2008. Earlier in their career, they served as a Business Analyst at Acumen Solutions from July 2006 to February 2007. Amber's first professional role was at Bay Federal Credit Union where they worked as a Sr. Consumer Lending Loan Officer from 2002 to 2004.

Amber Kuchar-Bell completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Development, with minors in Mathematics and Political Science, from UCLA from 1997 to 2001. Amber then pursued further education at Duke University, earning a Masters degree in Public Policy from 2004 to 2006.
