Cindy Schwab Salem

Cindy Schwab Salem serves as the Vice President of Philanthropy at Opportunity International since 2006, bringing over two decades of experience in philanthropic leadership. Previously, Cindy held various roles at Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2000 to 2005, including Major Gifts Officer and Senior Director of Leadership Annual Giving. Prior experience also includes serving as Director of Development at HandsOn Greater Phoenix from 1997 to 2000. Cindy earned a Master of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of Arts with double majors in Anthropology and Religious Studies from Occidental College. Additionally, Cindy is a Certified Specialist in Planned Giving from California State University, Long Beach's American Institute for Philanthropic Studies.
