Lucy Odhiambo

Lucy Odhiambo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education and social inclusion initiatives. Currently serving as a Product Development Consultant at Opportunity International, Lucy leads the Global Inclusion Project, focusing on gender equality and social inclusion within the EduQuality program. As the founder of SHECAN, Lucy mentors orphaned and destitute girls, empowering them to overcome adversity through education. Previous roles include Special Needs Education Lead at Education Development Trust, where Lucy delivered the SNE gender and Disability Inclusion mandate, and Special Needs Education Officer at RTI International, overseeing early literacy initiatives in Kenyan schools. Lucy's commitment to education also extends to leadership positions in various educational institutions and volunteer roles. Lucy holds multiple degrees, including a Master of Education in Special Needs Education and recent certifications in Gender Equality and Development.
