Sally Vicaria

Sally Vicaria is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global development and programme management, currently serving as the Global Executive Director at Opportunity International since September 2006. In this role, Sally facilitates collaboration between global offices and supports the leadership team to enhance service delivery and client impact. Previously, as International Programmes Director, responsibilities included strategic planning and directing programmes for Opportunity International UK, with a focus on designing complex projects targeting sustainable livelihoods, education, agriculture, and financial inclusion for marginalized populations. Earlier positions included Senior Programme Manager and Africa Programme Manager at Thousand Currents, as well as Programme Manager roles with Marie Stopes International and The Prince's Trust. Sally holds an MSc in Poverty Reduction: Policy and Practice from SOAS University of London and a BSc (Hons) in Management Science from the University of Warwick.
