Courtney Haynes

Courtney Haynes serves as the Chief Engagement Officer at Opportunity@Work and holds the position of Executive in Residence. Concurrently, Courtney is the Chair of the Board of Directors for WorkLife Partnership. Previous roles include serving in the U.S. Department of Energy focusing on Clean Energy Demonstrations, and participating in the design and implementation of EDA's American Rescue Plan funding at the U.S. Department of Commerce. Courtney has held significant operational leadership positions at the Turing School of Software & Design and Hope Street Group, where responsibilities included strategic planning, partnership development, and managing large teams to enhance economic mobility and community engagement. Courtney's career began in development and operations roles, demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing societal issues through effective collaboration and innovation. Academic credentials include a Master’s in Public Administration from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Science in Urban Affairs and Planning from Virginia Tech.
