Brian Uhlin

Global Director - Product Engineering at OpSec Security

Brian Uhlin has extensive work experience in various roles within the printing, labeling, and security industries. Brian started their career at USA TODAY, where they worked as a Production Manager Intern and Quality Services Intern. Brian then joined Grafika Printing as a Quality Assurance Manager.

In 1994, Uhlin joined YORK Label as a Product Development Engineer and later served as a Senior Product Development Engineer and Sales Engineer. Brian eventually became the Manager of Operations Analysis, responsible for Pricing, Estimating, and Capacity Utilization. Brian then became the Director of Marketing, developing sales strategies for Tier I accounts and implementing reporting protocols and processes for a Consumer Product division. Uhlin later served as the Technical Director, driving innovation and integrating best practices across multiple facilities.

In 2011, Uhlin joined Multi-Color Corporation as a Business Development Manager, leading cross-functional teams and developing sales and marketing strategies. Brian played a key role in integrating new business and implementing a Customer Relationship Management program.

Since 2014, Uhlin has been with OpSec Security, starting as a Senior Engineer and eventually becoming the Global Director of Product Technology. In this role, they defined and maintained the scope of OpSec's products, assessed new commercial opportunities, and designed a stage gate process for product modifications to seize new opportunities. Brian also developed a camera capture system and integrated data into OpSec's cloud-based trace and track service.

Overall, Uhlin's experience spans product development, sales and marketing, operations analysis, and management roles, demonstrating their expertise in driving innovation, integrating new businesses, and developing effective strategies.

Brian Uhlin attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a BSA degree in Printing Engineering.
