George Prichici

George Prichici has extensive work experience in the technology industry. George started their career at iSoftBet in 2008 as a Senior Flash Developer and later became a Mobile Games - Team Manager. At iSoftBet, they improved their programming skills and implemented object-oriented programming and design patterns. George then co-founded 2o in 2012, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer and Co-Founder. In this role, they focused on building a scalable python game server and microservices.

Following their time at 2o, George joined OPSWAT in 2014 as a General Manager, where they were responsible for building and growing the company's office in Romania. George successfully expanded the team to include 22 colleagues, including 12 Software Engineers. In addition to their management duties, they were involved in project development to ensure smooth planning, resource allocation, and communication. George also served as a Product Manager at OPSWAT, where they developed product features, advanced roadmap development, and implemented go-to-market strategies. Notably, they delivered the company's first scalable cloud product and prioritized investments in Big Data for data-driven decision-making. George worked closely with various departments, including R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, to ensure alignment and successful product launches.

In 2018, George was promoted to the role of Director of Product Management at OPSWAT, contributing to the company's product strategy and direction. George held this role until 2021, when they assumed their current position as the VP of Products, AppSec. In this role, they lead product development and strategy, focusing specifically on application security. Overall, George Prichici's career has demonstrated their expertise in product management, team leadership, and technical excellence.

George Prichici completed their education in Computer Software Engineering at the Universitatea "Politehnica" din Timisoara from 2004 to 2009, earning an Engineer's degree. Before that, they attended College CD Loga from 2000 to 2004 and completed a degree in Computer Programming, specifically as a Computer Programmer Assistant.

In addition to their formal education, George Prichici also holds certifications in the field of technology. George obtained the Architecting with Google Compute Engine Specialization from Coursera in March 2019. Furthermore, they acquired the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020.
