Sertan S. has an extensive work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Sertan is currently working as the Regional Director for the META (Middle East, Africa, and Turkey) region at OPSWAT, a global cyber security company. Prior to this, they served as the Chief Commercial Officer at V-Count, a leading manufacturer of AI-based Industrial IoT sensors. Sertan has also held the position of Regional Director at Sibertis Information Technologies, where they managed overall business activities across the Middle East, Turkey, and Africa regions. Before that, they served as the Country Manager/Managing Director for Kaspersky in Turkey, where they played a key role in restructuring teams and significantly increasing net revenue and market share. Early in their career, Sertan worked as the Regional Director for Central Asia, Middle East & Africa at İnnova Bilişim and as a Regional Sales Manager at ELİAR Elektronik San. A.Ş. Sertan also gained experience at Vodafone as a Vendor Manager, overseeing the relations with Nokia Networks. Sertan's work experience is backed by achievements such as tripling sales revenue at V-Count and quadrupling net revenue at Kaspersky. Overall, they have a strong background in sales, business management, and strategic leadership in the cybersecurity and IT industries.

Sertan S. has an extensive education history with a focus on business administration and management, as well as cyber security. In 1999, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Electronics & Telecommunications Engineering from Yildiz Technical University. Following this, they pursued an Executive Program in Pre-MBA at the University of Maine from 2001 to 2002.

In 2011, Sertan S. enrolled at The University of Manchester, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management between 2011 and 2014. Sertan furthered their education in cyber security by pursuing an MSc in Cyber Security at Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University from 2018 to 2021.

To enhance their knowledge and skills in applied cyber security, Sertan S. participated in the Executive Program in Applied CyberSecurity at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2017. This program focused on expanding their expertise in the field.

In addition to their formal education, Sertan S. has obtained several certifications to further their professional development.
