Tom Watson, CPA, CFE has extensive work experience in the fields of accounting and auditing. Tom most recently served as Assistant Controller at OPSWAT starting in March 2022. Prior to that, Tom held various roles at Sedgwick from 2018 to 2022, including Accounting Manager - Americas and Accounting Manager - Global. In these positions, they oversaw accounting activities for multiple regions, ensuring timely month-end closings and providing guidance to onshore and offshore teams. Before joining Sedgwick, Tom worked at CohnReznick LLP, where they served as an Audit Manager providing assurance and consulting services to clients. Tom also gained experience as an Audit Associate at KPMG, focusing on audits for large publicly traded companies. Earlier in their career, Tom worked as a Fiscal Auditor at IPRO, performing compliance audits for Medicaid providers. With their strong knowledge of GAAP and expertise in financial reporting and compliance, Tom has been successful in guiding clients and organizations and ensuring accurate and efficient operations.

Tom Watson, CPA, CFE, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In 2014, Tom earned their Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) and their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the New York State Board of Accountancy.
