John Dietrich

John Dietrich has over 10 years of experience in executive roles in the mineral and food industries. John served as CEO at Opta Minerals Inc. starting in April 2016 and previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Secretary from January 2013 to March 2016. Prior to joining Opta Minerals, John was the VP of Corporate Development and Secretary at SunOpta Inc from March 2009 to January 2013. John also served as the Chief Financial Officer at SunOpta Inc from September 2003 to March 2009.

John Dietrich received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Administration and Management from Wilfrid Laurier University from 1983 to 1987. John also acquired the Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1989. Moreover, they obtained a CFA certification from the CFA Institute by the year 2000.
