Rebecca Bird

Rebecca Bird is an experienced HR professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as an Employee Relations Business Partner at Optalis since March 2022, Rebecca previously held the position of HR Manager - Strategy & Operations at West Berkshire Council from November 2006 to February 2022, where responsibilities included managing a team, handling casework, and leading trade union relations. Prior to that, Rebecca worked as an HR Officer, providing advice on a broad range of employee relations issues. Rebecca's earlier experience includes roles as a self-employed HR Consultant and HR Manager at I CAN, as well as a Personnel Administrator at the Royal College of Art. Educational qualifications include a Diploma in Personnel and Development from the University of Westminster and a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of York.
