Brittany Hollon has over 10 years of experience in project management and geology. Brittany began their career in 2006 as a Teaching Assistant for Geo101 and Invertebrate Paleontology and an Undergraduate Lab Assistant in the Analytical Geochemistry Lab at the University of Alabama. From 2012-2019, they were a Senior Project Manager and a Sedimentologist (Geologist III) at Weatherford Laboratories, Inc. where they were responsible for performing core descriptions and environmental interpretations for siliciclastic and carbonate lithologies, thin sections analyses for mineralogy, reservoir quality, diagenesis, and (where applicable) formation damage. Additionally, they incorporated XRD and XRF data into lithology analyses and assisted clients in unfamiliar plays or venturing into core analysis. Since 2019, they have been a Senior Project Manager at Stratum Reservoir, where they are responsible for efficiently and thoroughly facilitating analytical programs through the lifecycle of a project while providing excellent client care via complete and responsive communications and providing appropriate documentation of all analyses. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Project Manager at OptaSense.
Brittany Hollon earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Geological Sciences from The University of Alabama in 2009. Brittany then went on to pursue their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Geological and Earth Sciences/Geosciences, which they completed in 2012 at The University of Alabama.
