Alexandros A.

Alexandros A. has extensive work experience in the field of finance and accounting. Alexandros started their career at PwC Greece as a Senior External Auditor from March 2007 to December 2010. Alexandros then joined Velti as a Reporting Analyst from January 2011 to February 2012. Afterwards, they worked at IFIT Fund Services AG as a Financial Controller for investment entities from September 2012 to January 2016. Currently, Alexandros serves as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer at Optasia since July 2022. Prior to this role, they held positions of Director of Finance and Finance Manager at Optasia from January 2019 to July 2022 and from January 2016 to July 2019, respectively.

Alexandros A. received a Bachelor of Science - BSc degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they pursued an MSc degree in Accounting & Business Studies at Aston University from 2004 to 2005. Furthermore, they obtained a BSc degree in Business Management from the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaly (TEI of Thessaly) from 2000 to 2004.

In addition to their formal education, Alexandros A. has also obtained various certifications. Alexandros became a Certified Accountant (A' Class signatory Rights) from the Economic Chamber of Greece in January 2019. Alexandros also holds the title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from S.O.E.L. The Institute of Certified Accountants of Greece, which they received in December 2014. Alexandros A. achieved ACCA (Fellow) status from ACCA in June 2011.

More recent certifications include the Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) from ACCA, obtained in January 2023.
