Theocharis Kalamaras

Theocharis Kalamaras has a comprehensive work experience that spans various roles and industries. Theocharis started their career as an Internship Customer Care Representative at Hellenic Telecommunications Organization in 2007 and then served as a Petty Officer 3rd Class in the Hellenic Navy from 2008 to 2009.

From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Construction Site Engineer Coordinator at Edil Hellas SA, where they were responsible for the technical proposal and coordination of projects.

In 2010, they joined Diatomi S.A. as a Construction Site Engineer Coordinator, leading a team and working on designs, supervision, and financial control of construction projects.

In 2014, they worked at Delivery Hero as a Junior Business Process Analyst, contributing to the development of the Billing Tool and other integrated tools.

At Citrix from 2014 to 2016, they served as a Software Test Engineer, specializing in Analytics products and ensuring high-quality standards.

Theocharis joined Qualco in 2016 as a Software Test Engineer, focusing on end-to-end testing and bug reporting.

Currently, since 2023, they hold the position of Director of Technical Delivery and Quality Assurance at Optasia, overseeing technical delivery and ensuring quality in project execution.

Throughout their career, they have gained expertise in methodologies like Waterfall and Agile, working closely with various stakeholders, and utilizing tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Selenium.

Theocharis Kalamaras completed their education in the field of engineering with a focus on electronic engineering and business management. From 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Electronic Engineering with Business Management at King's College London. Prior to that, they attended the Polytechnic School of Patras, University of Patras from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, specializing in Electric Power Systems division (ΜEng). Additionally, in July 2017, they obtained a Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing from the ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board).
