Tara Bishop M.D.

Tara Bishop MD, MPH is a highly accomplished medical professional and leader in healthcare policy and research. As the Founder and Managing Director of Black Opal Ventures, Tara Bishop also serves as a Board Observer at Optellum. At Weill Cornell Medicine, Tara holds the positions of Clinical Associate Professor of Population Health (Courtesy) and Associate Professor of Healthcare Policy and Research, along with directing Quality Improvement Operations. Additionally, Tara Bishop is a member of the Senior Advisory Board at 25m Health and provides strategic advising for Marani. Tara Bishop obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.D. from Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University.
