Adam Watts

Adam Watts has worked in the aviation industry since 2000, when they began their career as a Pilot with the Royal Air Force (RAF). In 2016, they co-founded and became the Ops Director and Chief Pilot of Desert Drones Imagery LLC, where they used UAS to carry out industrial inspections, environmental monitoring and spatial analysis. In 2021, they took on the role of Director of Client Programs at Optelos.

Adam Watts has a BSc in Geography from the University of Glasgow, which they obtained between 1997 and 2000. Before that, they attended Kirkcudbright Academy and obtained their High School degree between 1991 and 1997. Additionally, they have obtained a Part 107 Remote Pilot-Including Night Waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration in September 2016, a Private Pilots License from the Federal Aviation Administration in June 2016, and a FLIR ITC Level 1 Thermographer from FLIR ITC.
