Sean Mccolgan

Sean McColgan is a highly experienced software engineer with a strong background in full stack development and automation. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Optera since July 2022, Sean previously held the same title at Uplight from July 2019 to July 2022, following the merger of Simple Energy with Tendril. Earlier roles include Full Stack Developer at Simple Energy, Senior Engineer at Qualcomm, and Developer positions at Analog Method and Ordergroove, where expertise in Python, JavaScript, and various frameworks was applied. Sean also gained experience as a Junior Web Developer at Hudson Union and as a Developer Intern at We-Care.com. Sean's educational background includes degrees in Information Technology Application Software Development and Computer Information Systems from Alfred State College.
