Jeremy Basich has over 20 years of experience in the agriculture and food production industry. In 1998, they began their career as a Buyer for Sam's Club, where they were responsible for categories with direct oversight of more than $500 million in annual sales. In 2001, they moved to Safeway as a Produce Buyer, where they were involved in sourcing and negotiating with growers, distributors and importers. In 2006, they joined Next Phase Enterprises as the Director of Marketing, where they were responsible for 25 accounts that represented nearly $250 million in gross annual sales. From 2009 to 2011, they worked at SCOWT SOURCING as the Chief Operating Officer (COO). In 2011, they became an Executive Officer for the Commercial Facilities division at AgriCare, Inc., where they were responsible for the company's fiscal and operational health. In 2018, they joined the Western Agricultural Processors Association as a Board Member. In 2021, they became the Director of Membership - South at Blue Diamond Growers, where they developed and drove the strategic and tactical plans through the assigned Regional Management team. Finally, in 2022, they joined Opti-Harvest, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales & Distribution.
Jeremy Basich attended Walton Business College from 1999 to 2001, where they studied Finance, General. Jeremy then attended Riverside City College from 1989 to 1992, where they obtained an Associates Degree in Finance, General. In 2015, they obtained a QAL Qualified Applicators license from the State of California.
