Nicholas Booth has a long and varied work experience in the technology industry. Nicholas began their career as a Research Associate at the University of Alabama in Huntsville in 1999, where they designed and constructed a phase-shifting differential interferometer. In 2001, they moved to the University of Houston's Department of Chemical Engineering as a Senior Research Associate, where they were responsible for the design and construction of a phase-shifting interferometer. In 2005, they joined Calhoun Vision as an Optical Scientist, developing light adjustable implantable optics and an ultra-violet light delivery system. In 2009, they became the Director of Research & Development at Chromologic, providing leadership and project management in a dynamic growing environment. In 2013, they joined Lawcliffe as himself, raising a tidy 7 figure sum in contracts over the past three years. In 2014, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Opti-Harvest, Inc., and the Director of Physical Systems at Spectral Molecular Imaging, Inc. In 2019, they became a Technical Advisor at The Brain Window.
Nicholas Booth obtained their Ph.D. in Physics from Warwick University between 1994 and 1998. Prior to this, they obtained an M.Sc. in Surface Science from Loughborough University between 1993 and 1994.
