George Sideris has a strong work history in the engineering field. George is currently the Chief Engineer at Optics 1 since January 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Principal Engineer at Optics 1 from February 2020 to January 2023. Before joining Optics 1, they worked at DSBJ Solutions Inc. as a Senior Principal Engineer from August 2016 to February 2020. George also worked at Filtronic as a Senior Principal Engineer from June 2013 to August 2016. From June 2012 to May 2013, they served as the Director of Engineering at Powerwave Technologies, and prior to that, they held the position of Senior Principal Engineer at Powerwave Technologies from May 2009 to June 2012. George Sideris began their career at Filtronic INC as a Senior Engineer from October 1998 to May 2003, and later became a Principal Engineer at the same company from May 2003 to April 2009.
George Sideris began their education by attending the Technological Education Institute of Piraeus from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics. George then went on to further their studies at the University of Bradford from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Real Time Power Electronics and Control Systems.
