Optics 1
Tom Chase is an experienced software engineering professional with a career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Optics 1 since March 2023, Tom has previously held significant positions at L3Harris Technologies as a Lead Embedded Software Engineer from October 2008 to March 2023, and as a Software Engineering Manager at DTC Communications from March 2002 to October 2008. Earlier in the career, Tom contributed as a Senior Design Engineer at Motorola from 1994 to 2002, and began the career as a Research Assistant at Baylor College of Medicine in 1988-1989. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston, with additional education from Rutgers University.
