Dominik M. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dominik started their career at AT&T as a Billing Implementation Manager, where they managed a team, prepared financial reports, and developed financial tracking software. Dominik then ventured into entrepreneurship and became a Business Owner, conceptualizing and launching their own eCommerce business. In this role, they handled various aspects of the business, including purchasing, inventory management, and financials.

Dominik later joined OpticsPlanet, Inc., where they held several positions. As a Product Owner, they worked closely with internal clients to define and document feature improvements, facilitated requirements gathering meetings, and created feature enhancement requirements. Dominik then transitioned to the role of Software Engineering Manager, collaborating with product management and senior engineers to deliver commitments on time and in a quality-driven manner. Dominik also worked with architects and senior technical leadership to incorporate best practices and strategic goals into development work. In their most recent role as Director of Product Development and Management, Dominik focused on building and maintaining the Product Roadmap, partnering with internal stakeholders to identify new feature ideas and size business opportunities, and building relationships across all business units.

Dominik M. completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2002. Dominik then pursued further education and earned their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Management from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management between 2006 and 2008.
