Doug McCormack

Doug has spent the past 30 years working at the intersection of health care policy, law, politics and entrepreneurship. Prior to founding Novana and working with Azafran Capital as an Advisor and Investor, Doug has been founder, CEO and Chairman of three venture-backed technology companies. Under his leadership, these companies secured over two dozen patents, were recognized with multiple juried awards for innovation, and partnered with Apple to feature the first medical device brought to market with patient connectivity and control via an iPhone app. He was named a Fierce 15 CEO by Fierce BioTech in 2013. Doug exited via an asset sale to a global strategic and market leader.
