Ken Reardon

Chief Technology Officer at OptiEnz Sensors

Ken Reardon began their career in 1988 as Associate Dean for Research, Walter Scott, Jr. College of Engineering, Professor, and Co-Director of the Energy Institute at Colorado State University. In 2009, they became Chief Technology Officer at OptiEnz Sensors, a company producing biosensors that continuously monitor organic chemicals in aqueous solutions. As CTO, they oversaw the scientific and technical directions of OptiEnz and contributed to the Company's vision, mission, goals, and strategies. In 2019, Ken Reardon became Chief Science Officer at Edoceo Devices, a company commercializing technologies for the rapid detection of bacterial and viral infections. As CSO, they oversaw the scientific functions of Quara Devices and contributed to the Company's vision, mission, goals, and strategies.

Ken Reardon received their BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1981. Ken then went on to earn their PhD in Biochemical Engineering from Caltech in 1987. Following their PhD, Ken Reardon completed a postdoctoral research in Biochemical Engineering at Leibniz Universität Hannover in 1988.
