Erika Chee

Erika Chee has a diverse work experience spanning across various companies and roles. Their most recent position was as the Head of Product at Optii, where they were responsible for driving the product direction, delivery, and quality standards for the Optii Platform. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Director of Product at Optii and Director of Product, overseeing the product direction and priorities for the new Optii Platform.

Before joining Optii, Erika worked at HotSchedules, Now Powered by Fourth, as a Product Manager. In this role, they were responsible for the strategy, competitive/market analysis, roadmap, and customer feedback for key products. Erika also worked closely with strategic customers, internal stakeholders, and the engineering and UX/UI teams.

Erika also gained valuable experience at CDK Global - Spin-off of ADP as a Client Delivery Program Manager. In this role, they led client delivery product owners and client teams, implementing process improvements and managing large integration projects.

Prior to CDK Global, Erika worked at ADP as a Project Manager III, where they managed multiple releases of various systems and introduced an agile approach to management.

Their earlier positions include Project Manager and Senior Technical Project Manager at Pearson and Houghton Mifflin, respectively. Erika also served as the Director of Engineering at Datalette, Inc., overseeing the launch of an online marketplace for data.

Throughout their career, Erika has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a focus on delivering high-quality products. Erika has experience in various industries, including technology, software development, and education. Erika is skilled in project management, agile methodologies, and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Erika Chee completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Management Information System at Texas A&M University from 1991 to 1995. Erika later pursued a Master of Arts (MA) in Psychoanalysis at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis from 2000 to 2003. Before their higher education, Erika attended Berkner High School, although the start and end years are unknown. Additionally, they completed the Dale Carnegie Program, although the specific timing is unclear. Erika has obtained various certifications throughout their career, including being a Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator and completing the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program through the Mindful Leader institution in 2021. In 2019, they achieved PMC Level III certification from Pragmatic Institute (Pragmatic Marketing + TDI). In 2015, Erika received a Certificate of Achievement from the Dale Carnegie Training of Austin, and in 2013, they obtained a Scrum Master Certificate from the Scrum Alliance.
