Ray Yan, PhD

Ray Yan, PhD has extensive experience in the field of mechanical engineering and medical device development. They began their career as a Research Assistant at Boston University in 2003, where they focused on electrospinning of polymer nano-fibers and developed new fabrication and process control systems.

In 2009, they joined Arsenal Medical as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, where they contributed to the development of controlled release drug delivery medical device products and conducted research on core-sheath electrospinning technology. They later took on the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer - II, leading the development of a medical device product for abdominal aortic aneurysm sac filling and assisting in the development of test methods and protocols for a local therapy foam product.
