Ali Taghavi

Ali Taghavi is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in applied research and academia. Currently serving as Principal Research Scientist at Optilogic Inc. since March 2021, Ali previously held key positions at Coupa Software and LLamasoft, Inc., culminating as Senior Manager and Applied Research Manager. In the academic realm, Ali contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Wayne State University and Michigan State University from 2015 to 2019. Ali's research journey began as a Graduate Research Assistant at Wayne State University from 2008 to 2011. Ali's educational background includes pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Engineering at Wayne State University, alongside a Master's degree and Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
