Jorge Guerrero

Jorge Guerrero is the CEO and Corporate Counsel at Optima Compass Group, which provides consulting services to financial institutions. Jorge is a member and advisory board member of ACAMS, where Jorge previously served as the first chairman of the Money MSB Task force. Additionally, Jorge has held positions as Corporate Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Payment Approved and Vigo Remittance Corp. In the past, Jorge was the President and Co-Founder of the National Money Transmitters Association and served as a Compliance Officer at External Compliance Officer, Inc. Jorge has a Juris Doctor in Law, a Master of Science in Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University at Buffalo.
