Carter V. Reid has extensive work experience in various leadership roles within the health insurance industry. Carter V. began their career at Circuit City, where they served as the Director of Customer Service and Administrative Services for a decade. In 2001, they joined Anthem, Inc., where they held several positions, including Regional Vice President and Director of Service Operations. During their time at Anthem, they managed large-scale operations and was responsible for strategic vendor management and budget oversight. In 2019, Reid joined Optima Health as the Vice President of Customer Operations, where they oversee various areas, including customer experience, process improvement, and facilities management.
Carter V. Reid obtained a Bachelor's degree in History from Randolph-Macon College from 1987 to 1991. Then, from 2006 to 2010, they pursued a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the University of Richmond. In addition to their academic achievements, Carter also obtained several certifications. Carter V. acquired the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the Six Sigma Academy in July 2003. Carter V. also became a Lean Practitioner at Anthem, Inc. in January 2004 and obtained a certification in Agile Methodology from the same institution in January 2018.
