Scott Pirrie

Scott Pirrie has worked in the data science and analytics field since 2010. In that time, they have worked for four companies: Aegon UK, Sainsbury's Bank, Tesco Bank, and Optima Partners.

At Aegon UK, they started as an Actuarial Trainee in 2010 and then moved into roles as an Insight Consultant, Customer Research and Lifecycle Senior Consultant, and Aegon Analytics Senior Consultant.

In 2016, they moved to Sainsbury's Bank as a Credit Cards Pricing Senior Analyst.

In 2017, they joined Tesco Bank as a Data Scientist, where they used R and SAS to build predictive models for pricing, credit risk, and customer services.

Most recently, in 2021, they joined Optima Partners as a Lead Data Scientist.

Scott Pirrie obtained a Master of Science in Data Science from the University of Dundee between 2017 and 2019. Prior to that, they earned a BSc (Hons) in Mathematics from The University of Edinburgh between 2006 and 2010.
