Adam Zhang has a wide range of work experience, beginning in 2016 when they were a Researcher at the Georgia Institute of Technology. In 2017, they were a Researcher (NSF REU) at Oregon State University, completing a thesis under Dr. Desiree Tullos and Dr. Julia Jones. In 2018, they worked at EY as a Quantitative Analyst, Complex Securities in the Quantitative Finance & Economics Group. That same year, they also worked as a Machine Learning Intern at UPS, where they were selected among all enterprise interns to present a project to the Chief Information Officer. In 2020, Adam worked at Variant as a Data Scientist, and in 2021 they worked at Garner Health as a Data Product Manager and was also self-employed as a Part Time Onion Competitor. Currently, Adam is an AI Engineer at Optimal Dynamics, engineering transportation networks with optimization algorithms, simulation, and reinforcement learning.
Adam Zhang attended Georgia Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Prior to that, they attended Walton High School.
