Alexander Aguilar

Alexander Aguilar is a Software Engineer II at Optimal Dynamics, where Alexander works on various backend projects and products. Alexander's experience includes being a maintainer and contributor of internal Django/Postgres APIs, migrating repositories into a single monorepo, and creating API/UI canaries for monitoring. Alexander is currently focused on revamping the ETL pipeline using Python, DuckDB, DBT, and SQL. Throughout their career, Alexander has worked with technologies such as Python, Django, Postgres, DuckDB, SQL, AWS, Kafka, gRPC, GraphQL, ReactJS, Typescript, Java, Spring Boot, and more. Alexander's education background includes a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Villanova University and a brief study abroad experience at Università degli studi Roma TRE.
