Juliana Nascimento

Juliana Nascimento is the current head of AI development at Optimal Dynamics. Prior to this, they were the director of optimization and artificial intelligence at the company for 2 years and 3 months. Juliana was also an optimization expert at Princeton University for 3 years and 11 months, working on stochastic optimization for the general problem of decision-making under uncertainty. Before that, they worked at Kimberly-Clark for 7 years and 9 months, where they held various positions, including associate director of operational planning and foreign trade, and senior manager of production planning and control (PP&C) and strategic projects. During their time at Kimberly-Clark, they led a team of 30 people and was responsible for the production planning across all factories in Brazil. Juliana also implemented initiatives that contributed significantly to the overall business, such as portfolio optimization and reducing the number of SKUs.

Juliana Nascimento has a Ph.D. from Princeton University in Operations Research and Financial Engineering, a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, and a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Juliana also has a Production and Inventory Management Certification from APICS Supply Chain Council.
