Therese Sullivan serves as the Operations Lead and Senior Occupational Therapist at Optimal Living Therapy since 2018, focusing on rehabilitation, home modification, access consulting, and Livable Housing assessment. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Occupational Therapist at Fiona Stanley Hospital from October 2015 to February 2019, where responsibilities encompassed acute medical care and various specialties, including neurological rehabilitation and oncology. Therese also worked as an Injury Management Coordinator at Aurenda from February to September 2015, facilitating the return to work for individuals affected by workplace injuries. Therese holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Curtin University, earned between 2011 and 2014.

Optimal Living Therapy is a registered NDIS provider for Occupational Therapy, offering diverse services to adult individuals with a wide range of abilities. Our main area of expertise is neurological conditions such as Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injury (SCI), Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis and Huntington’s disease. We support our clients to achieve their goals and live a connected and fulfilling life. Another key area of expertise for our team is providing consultation, eligibility assessments and certifications for Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA). SDA recognises the importance of the built environment in maximising an individual’s function. Our therapy and home modification experience mean we have an intimate understanding of how participants utilise built environments and can consult accordingly.
