Fabian Schmidt

Fabian Schmidt is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical engineering. Currently serving as an Entwicklungsingenieur R&D at optimed Medizinische Instrumente GmbH since January 2020, Fabian has previously worked as a Werkstudent at FZI Forschungszentrum Informatik, where the focus was on the design and construction of an additively manufactured otoplastics for pulse measurement. Additional roles include work at Rosswag Engineering, IAM Institut für angewandte Materialien, FAST Institut für Fahrzeugtechnik, and wbk Institut für Produktionstechnik at KIT, contributing to various research and development projects. Fabian holds a Master's degree in Maschinenbau and a Bachelor of Science in Maschinenbau, both obtained from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT).
