Thilo Wack is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the medical device industry. Currently serving as Senior Entwicklungsingenieur at optimed since June 2020, Wack has previously held significant leadership roles at pfm medical ag, where responsibilities included Head of Quality Engineering and Head of Nitinol Projects, managing teams in R&D and product development for minimally invasive medical devices. Prior to that, Wack held various engineering positions at CR Bard, focusing on the design and development of self-expanding Nitinol stents. Early career experience includes a research role at Saarland University, where Wack contributed to projects involving titanium alloys for stent applications. Wack holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in materials science from Universität des Saarlandes.
