Head of HR & Talent Acquisition at Optimile

Nick Saeys has experience working in various HR and management roles. Nick was the Head of HR & Talent Acquisition at Optimile from May 2021. Their responsibilities included talent acquisition, employer branding strategy, onboarding, organizational structure, reward management, performance management, learning & development, HR guidelines & policies, culture, and payroll. Prior to this, they were an HR Manager at Optimile from June 2019 to April 2021. At Optimile, they worked on a cloud-based mobility platform that connects different mobility services. Before joining Optimile, Nick was an HR Manager at Uptimise from January 2018 to June 2019. Nick also worked as a Project & Operations Manager in the consulting industry from August 2011 to December 2017.

Nick Saeys completed their education at KU Leuven. Nick obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2009 and then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in the same field from 2009 to 2011. Nick also studied Psychology at KU Leuven and received a Bachelor's degree in the subject from 2003 to 2005. Prior to their university studies, Nick attended Sint-Jozefscollege Aalst, where they completed their Science & Mathematics education.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Nick Saeys has obtained several certifications. Nick completed a Prevention advisor level III course at SBM Training Coaching Advies in June 2019. Nick also attended the Ondernemersacademie for the Masterclass in Business Management in March 2019. In September 2015, Nick took a course on non-hierarchical leadership at Dynamo. In February 2013, they acquired essential leadership skills from Gouache and obtained certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from Impact in January 2013. In March 2012, Nick completed a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course at Stanwick Management Consultants.
