Liz Barhydt, CMA, CPA has extensive work experience in finance and accounting. Currently, they serve as the Head of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Pardon Inc. and Optimism respectively. Prior to that, Liz founded Liz Speaks Numbers, an organization that empowers female finance and accounting leaders through storytelling.

Liz's early career includes experience as a Senior Accountant at Neurocrine Biosciences, where they handled month-end and quarter-end closings. Liz also worked as an Internal Auditor at USAC, focusing on audit programs and internal control processes.

Their career began at Ernst & Young, where they worked as an Auditor, performing financial statement audits and compliance testing.

In 2020, Liz obtained their Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification from the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA).
