Katy Flatt has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Katy has served as the Director of Culture & Operations at Optimist since January 2017, where they are responsible for creating, implementing, and documenting workflows. Katy audits current processes and develops plans for iteration to improve efficiency. In addition, they onboard freelancers, facilitates continuing education, and develops internal work guides. Prior to this, Katy worked as a Marketing Content Specialist at 7pace starting in August 2017. Before transitioning to marketing, they worked as the Parts Queen and Office Manager at Main Appliance Service LLC from January 2015 to April 2017. Katy has also worked in customer service roles, including being a Customer Service Superstar at The Brothers Main TV & Appliance from October 2013 to December 2014. Katy started their career as a Night Auditor at Hampton Inn Hotel from February 2006 to October 2010. Katy also took on the role of CA/Team Lead at URrelay, Inc. from October 2006 to April 2010. Prior to this, they gained early experience as a Captioning Assistant and CSR at Captel Inc from April 2011 to April 2012.
