Rachel Palmer

Rachel Palmer is a clinical social worker with extensive experience in outreach and engagement, currently serving at the Downtown Women's Center since May 2023. Rachel's previous roles include outpatient therapist at Optimist Youth Homes and Family Services, and Teen Talk App supervisor at Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles. Additionally, Rachel completed clinical social work internships at Edelman Westside Mental Health Center and Los Angeles Unified School District, and worked as a student support specialist at the College Internship Program. Earlier experience includes an internship in an intensive outpatient program and an autism services internship at California State University, Long Beach. Rachel holds a Master of Social Work degree from UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach.
