Rob Blomström

Rob Blomström is a seasoned professional in PCB design and engineering with extensive experience across various companies and roles. Currently serving as a Senior PCB Layout Designer at Optimum Design Associates since September 2023, Rob has also been the owner of Blomstrom.Tech, LLC since April 2019, focusing on network design, custom PC builds, and A/V solutions. Previous positions include Senior PCB Design Engineer at Fresh Consulting for Meta, Sr. PCB Designer at IBM, and leadership roles at Schlumberger and ITT - Space Systems Division, where contributions ranged from global tool deployment to the development of design guidelines. Beginning a career in the late 1990s, Rob has gathered substantial expertise using Cadence Allegro and has managed PCB design teams, underscoring a strong background in design rule specifications and technical consulting. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Monmouth University.
