Angel Ortiz

Angel Ortiz has extensive experience in network security and engineering, currently serving as the Lead Network Security Engineer at Optimum since September 2024, following a role as Senior Network Security Engineer. Prior experience includes working as an IT Security Engineer at Altice USA from February 2022 to September 2024 and as a Network Engineer at First United Bank from May 2021 to February 2022, where responsibilities encompassed managing Checkpoint R80.20 Gaia HA clusters. Angel previously held positions at Riata Corporate Group, LLC, from August 2016 to March 2021, overseeing a network infrastructure across multiple countries and providing technical support. Angel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems with a major in Networks and an Associate Degree in Computer Programming, both from EDP University of Puerto Rico.
