Monty Parker

Monty Parker, Jr. possesses extensive experience in steel production and management, currently serving as Melt Shop Superintendent and Production Manager at Optimus Steel, LLC since September 2021. Prior to this role, Monty held various positions at Commercial Metals Company from August 2012 to September 2021, including Melt Shop Manager and Casting and Refractory Manager. Monty also served as Casting and Refractory Manager at ArcelorMittal - Georgetown from March 2011 to August 2012. Earlier, Monty had a significant tenure at Nucor Steel - Texas, where responsibilities included Day Melting and Refractory Supervisor from April 2006 to March 2011, and at CMC Steel - Texas as Day Melt Shop Supervisor from January 1996 to April 2006. Monty's career began at North Star Steel - Beaumont Texas as Quality Assurance in Melting from August 1989 to January 1996.
