Michael Lane

Michael Lane, MSN, RN has over 20 years of work experience in the healthcare industry. Michael is currently the Director of Operations at Option Care Health, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Director of Nursing at Medical Clinic of Houston, LLP from 2018 to 2023, where they oversaw nursing operations at 43 outpatient clinics and managed a team of 136 FTEs. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Administrative Director of Nursing at North Cypress Medical Center Hospital, where they were responsible for the day-to-day administrative operations and fostered open communication among staff and physicians. Michael'sprevious roles include Clinical Manager II and Operations Administrator at Memorial Hermann Health System, where they managed a medical/surgical and neurology unit, coordinated with administrative staff, and improved patient satisfaction. Michael also served as a SWAT Nurse, ER Nurse, and Emergency Room Technician during their tenure at Memorial Hermann. Michael began their career as a Military Medic in the United States Air Force and worked as an ER Technician at Houston Methodist before that.

Michael Lane, MSN, RN has a diverse education history in the healthcare field. In 2002-2003, they pursued aerospace medicine at the Community College of the Air Force. Subsequently, from 2008 to 2010, they attended Lone Star College and obtained an ADN in Registered Nursing. Moving forward, they enrolled in Grand Canyon University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from 2014 to 2015. Later, in 2016, they furthered their education at Grand Canyon University by completing a Masters of Science in Nursing with a focus on Health/Health Care Administration/Management. In addition to their educational achievements, they possess several certifications, including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Registered Nurse (RN) licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing.
