Timothy Mooney

Timothy Mooney, CISSP, currently serves as a Senior Domain Advisor for Optiv Managed Security Services since February 2024, providing expertise in cybersecurity solutions tailored to various industries. With extensive experience, Timothy has been a member of InfraGard National Members Alliance since November 2015, contributing to the partnership between the FBI and private sector. Previous roles include Senior Sales Engineer at Proofpoint, Regional Sales Manager at Acalvio Technologies, and advisory positions at Lighthouse Investment Management and Optimal Computing. Furthermore, Timothy held senior security architect positions at Palo Alto Networks and Secureworks, leading initiatives in cloud security and "Zero Trust" implementations. Timothy began a career in cybersecurity in 2003, culminating in a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers School of Engineering.
