Iaroslav Nikolaev

Iaroslav (Yaroslav) Nikolaev has extensive work experience in software development and engineering. Iaroslav (Yaroslav) worked as a Full Stack Developer at SnapCall from January 2014 to February 2016, where they were responsible for the full cycle of software development and the support and development of backend and admin GUI.

Following that, they joined ETNA Trader in February 2015 as a Java Software Engineer, focusing on the trading robots department and pure backend development. Iaroslav (Yaroslav) worked on the full cycle of software development, including feature design, implementation, and testing.

In February 2016, Iaroslav moved to TaskData as a Senior Java Software Engineer. Here, they performed the full cycle of software development, including feature design, implementation, testing, and communication with customers on-site.

From April 2017 to June 2019, they worked at Optiva Inc as a Principal Java Software Engineer. In this role, they handled emergency situations for customers worldwide, took business trips, designed solutions, implemented features, and fixed bugs.

At Optiva Inc, they transitioned to the role of Principal Cloud Engineer (SRE + DevOps) from June 2019 to November 2020. Here, they introduced SRE and other Cloud technologies, provided user and application support, and enhanced applications on the cloud side.

Currently, Iaroslav is serving as the Principal Distributed Systems Developer at Optiva Inc since November 2020.

Iaroslav (Yaroslav) Nikolaev obtained an Engineer's degree in Engineering from the Saint Petersburg University of Telecommunications, where they studied from 2006 to 2011.
