Gaurav Ghimire

Gaurav Ghimire is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in managing cloud platforms and infrastructure. Currently serving as the Global Head of Cloud Platforms at Optiver since October 2017, Gaurav has also held the positions of APAC Head of Cloud Platforms, Senior Infrastructure Architect, and Infrastructure Engineer within the same organization. Prior to Optiver, Gaurav worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Odecee, a Cognizant Digital Business, and operated as an Independent Consultant from September 2014 to October 2016. Gaurav's career began at Subisu Cablenet Limited, where roles included Engineering Lead, Linux Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer from July 2006 to September 2014. Gaurav holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, earned between 2007 and 2010.
