Olexiy Lazarevych

Olexiy Lazarevych is a highly skilled software engineer with extensive experience in the development of services and applications for trading risk management at Optiver since May 2023. Prior to this, Olexiy worked at Lyft from August 2018 to April 2023, focusing on mapping, where key achievements included designing evaluation workflows for traffic prediction models and implementing a Tier 0 service that significantly reduced service latency and operational costs. Olexiy's expertise in autonomous driving was further honed at BMW Group from February 2011 to July 2018, serving as a development specialist and project lead for R&D initiatives, where contributions involved planning and control systems and the application of AI methodologies. Earlier experience includes a research assistant role at the Computer Vision Laboratory of ETH Zurich, complemented by academic credentials including a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, an MBA from Mannheim Business School, and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Jacobs University Bremen.
