Jonathan Mullen

Jonathan Mullen has worked in various roles since 2015. In 2015, they were a Lifeguard Instructor and Interim Supervisor at Anoka County. In 2017, they worked as an Engineering Learning Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and as an Optum Software Engineering/Technology Development Program Intern at UnitedHealth Group. In 2018, they were a Product Engineering Intern at John Deere's Backhoe Electrical Design Team. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as ECE Senior Design Course Staff at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and as a Software Systems Engineer, Controls Engineer, and Software Engineer in the Engineering Development Program at John Deere. Currently, Jonathan is working as an Embedded Software Engineer at Optivolt and an Embedded Systems Engineer at PSYONIC.

Jonathan Mullen attended The Grainger College of Engineering from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering. In 2016, they studied abroad at The University of Sheffield. In addition, Jonathan obtained a Grassroots Referee certification from the U.S. Soccer Federation in April 2022, a Lifeguarding Instructor certification from the American Red Cross in June 2015, and a Certified Machine Operator - Sprayer, Backhoe, Gator/UV certification from John Deere.
